My Cousin Sammy is the children’s literature that won the Nigeria Prize for Literature 2007 for Prof Adimora-Ezeigbo. She won the prize with Mrs Mabel Segun’s Reader’s Theatre.

Adimora –Ezeigbo is a highly prolific author of several literature genres. Her published works include novels, poetry, short stories, books for children, essays and journalism. She is also the winner of several other awards in Nigeria and in diaspora.

Adimora Ezeigbo, a lecturer at Federal University of Ndifo-Alike, Ikwo in Ebonyi State and formerly University of Lagos, where she also studied, is a highly respected academic. She has been a chairman of panel of Judges for The Nigeria Prize for Literature in 2011.
